Hi! 👋🏾
Avid Health is a small project from former home healthcare leaders and a group of engineers. We started in December 2023 as an internal skunk works project of Obran Health, and built these tools while working with both home health administrators and clinicians. We are now exploring how we might support other home healthcare operations across the US build thier businesses around the sacred connection of care.
Over time, we listened closely to our teammates—especially clinicians. They shared their challenges, like balancing their home life with nights and weekends charting. We heard from our intake staff juggling five or six different portals just to admit a new patient. Our patients and their families needed help understanding their care. And our administrative staff struggled to track it all with homemade spreadsheets.
At its core of our product is a demonstration in our belief in artificial intelegence. We believe that there will be a day when providers and clinicians can solely focus on the patient and their unique needs allowing the platform to orchestrate the rest. We want to create tools that improve business workflows and help us stay a bit more human.
We're excited to hear your feedback and collaborate!
